The Virginia Department of Elections provides an online portal for voter registration, if you have a current Virginia driver's license. Other registration locations can be found through the Virginia Department of Elections.

Polling Place Updates and Changes 

  • Henry Precinct polling location changed from Henry Elementary School to:
    Henry Community Center: 5241 Henry Road, Henry, VA 24102
  • Burnt Chimney Precinct polling location has changed from Burnt Chimney Elementary School to:
    Smith Mountain Lake YMCA: 293 Firstwatch Drive Moneta, VA 24121
  • Rocky Mount East Precinct (Name Change Only) from Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren to Rocky Mount Covenant Brethren Church: 405 Tanyard Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151

Do you want to know where your ballot is?  Try checking the status of your ballot online.

Early Voting Location: 
You can vote early at the Registrar's Office beginning 45 days before Election Day and ending the Saturday before Election Day. You do not have to have a reason or fill out an application to vote early. You must provide your name and address and show an acceptable form of ID or sign an ID Confirmation Statement. Location: Franklin County Voter Registration Office located at 1255 Franklin Street, Suite106, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
