About the Authority

The Franklin County Broadband Authority was created on November 21, 2017.  Resolution Adopting the Franklin County Broadband Authority (PDF)

2026 Broadband Authority Meeting Dates

Broadband will meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 2 PM in the Government Center Boardroom, 1255 Franklin Street, Rocky Mount, Virginia.  Meetings are subject to cancellation in the event of lack of business on the agenda.

Crawford Road 

Key West Street

Terrell Drive

Nyles Ridge 

High Meadows Drive
